Leading a healthier lifestyle can be very rewarding and can be done without making too many major changes to your current lifestyle.

On average it is thought that 17 years of our life is spent sitting on a settee. Perhaps in future, when sitting down, think of something more energetic to do instead. 30 mins of physical activity per day can make a massive difference to your health.

Fast food and ready meals are bad for yor health due to Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) content. It is a sodium salt which is non essential glutamic acid, but which is used as a food additive and is commonly marketed as a falvour enhancer. Spending time cooking meals yourslef with fresh ingredients will ensure a more healthy well balanced meal where you know exactly what is contained within it.

Try and cut down your salt intake. Studies say that we should not be eating more than 6g ofsalt per day, whereas on average we currently eat 9.5g per day. This can reduce blood pressure.

Eating one extra piece of fruit or vegetable per day can cut the risk of dying early by up to 20 per cent. Again this isn't a big change to your lifestyle, but one which could invariably help you becom a healthier person.
